A dramatic bag, probably Luri, with pleasing asymmetry in the layout of the birds, flowers, and other elements that surround the main motif, a lotus flower or sun (which can also be found in a much smaller Qashqai piece that has already been posted). It measures 35 x 35 cms. Interestingly, the bag doesn't 'read' as well if it's turned upside down to make more sense of the birds. The back is lovely, but the stitching up the sides is new. Purchased from a dealer in the UK.
